🚀 End User Computing (EUC) Senior Engineer

📍 London – Regular Attendance Required
💰 Circa £550 per day
📅 12-Month Contract

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced End User Computing (EUC) Senior Engineer to join a leading financial services client on a 12-month contract. This is a senior technical role within an established EUC team, covering 3rd-line BAU escalations, continuous improvement, internal project delivery and support for external projects, while helping shape the future EUC strategy.

🔧 The Role

You’ll be responsible for supporting the ongoing operation and stability of EUC services, whilst taking ownership of technical improvements and project delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Resolving complex 3rd-line EUC escalations
  • Acting as a Technical Lead on EUC-related projects
  • Supporting internal projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supporting external project delivery where required
  • Overseeing the continued operation of EUC systems and minimising disruption
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of EUC strategy
  • Producing and maintaining high-quality technical documentation
  • Assessing the impact of proposed changes and producing/documenting change requests
  • Developing High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs)
  • Communicating technical solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

💻 Essential Technical Experience

Strong hands-on experience across modern Microsoft EUC technologies, including:

  • Microsoft Intune – Android, iOS, macOS and Windows management
  • Windows Autopilot
  • Windows 11
  • Windows Autopatch
  • Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
  • Microsoft 365
  • Windows 365

  • Conditional Access
  • Microsoft Defender XDR, including MDI, MDE, MDO and MDA

👤 What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who can operate comfortably at both a technical and strategic level. You should have:

  • Proven experience as an EUC Engineer / Senior EUC Engineer
  • Experience acting as a Technical Lead on EUC projects
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • The ability to translate business and user requirements into effective technical solutions
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working independently and collaboratively across geographically distributed teams
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
