Senior Infrastructure Integration Engineer | 12 Month Contract
📍 Glasgow, hybrid, 3 days/week onsite
💰 Circa £450/day, Inside IR35
🏦 Major BFSI transformation programme

We're hiring a Senior Infrastructure Integration Engineer to join a large scale infrastructure transformation programme, integrating vendor, open source, and internally built solutions into a major financial services platform. You'll be hands on with Linux, Python automation, and CI/CD pipelines, with a strong focus on security remediation and hardening.

What you'll do
- Integrate vendor, open source, and internal solutions into a large scale Linux based infrastructure platform
- Remediate security vulnerabilities and implement system hardening across production environments
- Build and maintain Python automation to streamline infrastructure operations
- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release validation
- Create test plans, validation procedures, and rollback strategies for production changes
- Troubleshoot across Linux, networking, virtualization, and automation frameworks

What you'll need
- Strong Linux/Unix administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning experience
- Python for automation and infrastructure scripting
- Hands on IaC experience (Ansible, Terraform, SaltStack, or similar)
- CI/CD pipeline build and ownership experience
- Vulnerability remediation and secure coding/hardening experience
- Distributed systems and large scale production environment exposure
Nice to have: VMware ESXi, Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift, or prior banking/financial services experience.
