Senior Infrastructure/Cloud Engineer
My client is currently looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to come on board on a permanent basis and join their growing team.
Role Overview
The role will be to provide day-to-day support of all our clients’ cloud systems and security.
Key Responsibilities
Operations
- Create scripts to improve cloud deployment and reporting mainly in SharePoint.
- Be a dedicated support point for detailed firewall questions.
- Ensure good working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and monitoring tools across the team.

Cloud Management
- Update Security and Network information to accurately account for changes in infrastructure.
- Test and rollout updates to firewalls and routers.
Project Management or Client Management
- Deal with the management tasks associated with running a busy MSP.
- Have delivered projects on time and budget or have been the dedicated point of contact for multiple clients and able to explain to clients the best solution for them.
- Keep up to date with new product roll-outs and pricing changes and ensure we capture the changes in our client billing.
- Understand costs of solutions and engineering time.

Essential Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of a leading firewall vendor (FortiGate ideal).
- Expert knowledge of hardware troubleshooting Windows environments.
- MDM skills.
- O365 conditional access and SharePoint setup.
- Solid network understanding.
