Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing technical development projects from concept through manufacturing and implementation.
• Planning and leading prototype assembly, testing, and validation activities.
• Conducting development studies, simulations, and technical analyses.
• Maintaining and overseeing technical documentation throughout project lifecycles.
• Ensuring effective collaboration and communication with global teams and key customers.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the value chain.
• Supporting product development projects across all Well Services product lines, including Tubular Running Services (TRS), Wellbore Clean-Up (WBC), and Rentals & Automation (R&A).

Qualifications And Experience

We are looking for candidates with:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of product design experience, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer working with product development.
• Strong experience with CAD software is mandatory.
• Experience delivering projects from concept through manufacture and implementation.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and design requirements.
• Experience with product assembly, testing, and validation activities.
• Previous operational experience within relevant industries is an advantage.
• Experience with FMEA, CFD, and FEA methodologies is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to mentor and develop less experienced engineers.

The Innovation & Development team currently has a particular need for engineering competence within the Tubular Running Services (TRS) product line, so any previous experience within this product segment will therefore be highly valued.

As part of a global engineering team with colleagues based in Norway, the United Kingdom, and the UAE, some international travel should be expected.
