GROUND-UP TECH STARTUP OPPORTUNITY
Join a fast-growing proptech founded by ex-unicorn and property industry leaders.
Our Mission
Buying and selling a property in the UK is a nightmare. Transactions drag on for months and have a 40% chance of collapsing completely. We're on a mission to change this - helping customers get the keys to their new home up to 20x faster than it currently takes.
To do this, we're combining a new approach to residential property legals with an AI-platform built on modern technology - making the experience faster, clearer, and dramatically better for everyone involved.
We'd love you to join us and help convert the leads our estate agent partners send us into signed instructions.
The Role
This is a high-activity, full-cycle inside sales role where you own the seller conversation from first call to sign-up.
Leads come in from our estate agent partners or inbound via our website. Your job is to call them immediately, pitch the Propelr service, handle their questions and objections, and get them signed up. Speed matters: the faster you call, the warmer the conversation.
Most leads arrive warm - the referring agent has already introduced Propelr - but you'll need to be comfortable navigating cold conversations too. Leads can convert the same day or take up to two weeks, with anywhere from one to ten touchpoints along the way.
This isn't a script-and-dial role. The best reps take time to understand why a seller is moving - their timeline, their circumstances, their anxieties - and use that to lead the conversation rather than leading with product or price. Consultative instinct is as important as activity here.
This is a high-activity role. You'll be making 50+ calls per day, managing a busy pipeline in HubSpot, and working to a clear conversion rate target.
Key Responsibilities
- Take time to understand each seller's reasons for moving - use their circumstances to lead the conversation, not just the product
- Call inbound referral leads immediately on receipt - speed to lead is critical
- Pitch the Propelr service clearly and compellingly, leading with outcomes not price
- Handle objections with confidence, particularly around cost versus cheaper traditional sell-side-only quotes
- Follow up every call with an email and chase leads through to a sign-up decision
- Manage your pipeline accurately in HubSpot - log every interaction, every outcome
- Meet and exceed your conversion rate target
- Communicate with estate agents to share feedback from seller conversations
- Continuously sharpen your pitch based on what's working and what isn't

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme

Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Here's the Reality of the Role
You're Selling to People at a Stressful Moment
Sellers are navigating one of the most significant financial decisions of their lives. They're anxious, time-pressured, and being quoted from multiple directions. Your job is to cut through that noise, build trust fast, and help them see why Propelr is the better decision - not just the more expensive one.
Price Will Come Up. Every Time.
The most common objection is cost versus cheaper sell-side-only quotes. You need to be able to reframe value instinctively - total cost of ownership, fall-through risk, time value of money on delayed proceeds. You won't win on price. You'll win on outcome.
It's Not Always One Call and Done
Some sellers sign up on the first call. Others need six touchpoints over two weeks. You'll need patience, persistence, and a structured follow-up process that keeps you front of mind without being annoying.
You Need to Lead With Interest
Before you pitch, you listen. Why are they moving? What's their timeline? Are they already speaking to solicitors? The sellers who convert fastest are the ones who feel understood, not sold to.
What You're Signing Up For
- Own the Pipeline End to End: From the moment a lead lands to the moment they pay, it's yours. No handoffs, no excuses - you open it and you close it.
- A Product Worth Selling: Propelr gets sellers to exchange in approximately 27 days - 80% faster than the market average - with a fall-through rate under 1%. That's a genuine, provable advantage. You'll never struggle to believe in what you're selling.
- A Seat at the Table: We're still early. The way we talk to sellers, handle objections, and convert leads is still being defined. Your feedback from the front line will shape how we do this at scale.
- Room to Grow: Propelr is growing quickly. Success in this role opens up real career progression - we promote from within and are building a sales team that scales with the business.
What This Role Is Not
- Cold outreach - leads are referred by estate agent partners or come in via our website; you're not generating them from scratch
- Order taking - sellers need educating and convincing; this is consultative selling
- A stepping stone to something else quickly - we want someone who wants to own this
Who This Is For
We care more about how you sell than where you've sold. Background in Property, PropTech, mortgage broking, financial services, legal or conveyancing, or high-volume consumer sales are all strong fits - but if you've got the right instincts and 2-3 years of results behind you, we want to hear from you.

- Resilient and self-motivated - you don't need to be chased to make your calls
- Comfortable with CRM discipline - you log as you go, not at the end of the day
- Intellectually curious - you want to understand the product deeply, not just recite a script
- Experience in property, mortgage, legal, PropTech or financial services is a genuine advantage
