About Kids Planet

Kids Planet is a prominent nursery group in the United Kingdom, currently operating at more than 280 locations. Established in 2008 with only four sites, the company has experienced substantial growth and is continuing to evolve the way data informs operational decisions across the business.

About the Role

We are now seeking a Senior Insight Analyst to lead advanced reporting and insight across new Kids Planet Territory regions. The role will turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that help regional and operational leaders improve performance, identify opportunities and deliver measurable, data-driven change. This is a high-impact role within a growing Technology and Data function, working closely with the CTO, Data team and senior stakeholders to strengthen the quality, consistency and commercial value of insight across Kids Planet.

Role purpose: To design, deliver and embed advanced reporting, KPI analysis and insight-led recommendations that support Territory regions to make better decisions and drive stronger business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advanced reporting and analytics: Develop and maintain high-quality Power BI dashboards, performance reports and analytical tools that provide clear, reliable and actionable insight for Territory regions and central teams.
  • Territory performance insight: Partner with operational leaders to understand regional performance, identify trends, surface risks and opportunities, and translate data into practical improvement actions.
  • KPI development and governance: Support the design, definition and rollout of KPIs across the new KP Territory regions, ensuring metrics are consistent, trusted and aligned to business priorities.
  • Data-driven change: Use insight to challenge, influence and support decisions, helping stakeholders move beyond reporting into measurable improvement and stronger operational outcomes.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with the CTO, Data team, regional leaders and departments across the business to understand requirements, prioritise insight needs and deliver reporting solutions that meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Data quality and validation: Use SQL and source-system knowledge to interrogate, validate and reconcile data so reporting is accurate, robust and right first time.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to simplify processes, automate reporting, improve data literacy and embed better use of insight across the organisation.
  • Compliance and governance: Ensure reporting and analytics activity remains compliant with relevant data protection regulations, internal governance standards and appropriate data access controls.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
