The Role
As a Senior Insight Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decisions and insights through the development and optimisation of analytics solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust analytics pipelines in SQL, leverage your expertise in Databricks using Python, and create impactful visualisations using Tableau or Power BI and other relevant technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualise and communicate insights derived from complex datasets.
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Databricks and SQL/Spark for efficient data processing and analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Optimise and enhance existing analytics infrastructure and processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in analytics technologies and methodologies to continuously improve our analytical capabilities.
Your Knowledge & Experience
Must have
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience in analytics, data engineering, or a related role.
- Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau for data visualisation and dashboard development.
- Hands-on experience with SQL for data processing and analytics.

Desirable
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience using data science libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn, and Keras/PyTorch.
- Experience with Databricks and Spark for data manipulation and querying.
- Prior experience in the retail industry, with a deep understanding of retail analytics.
- Previous consultancy experience, working directly with clients to deliver analytics solutions and insights.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
