FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist engineering provider for an experienced Senior Installation Supervisor to join their installation team.
Location: UK wide (with travel across the UK, Ireland & Europe) – on-site

Senior Installation Supervisor Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate mechanical installation activities on client sites
- Interpret and work from installation drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Set out, position, and level pipework systems and fabricated components onto existing structures
- Supervise site teams to ensure installation milestones are achieved on programme
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, site rules, and statutory requirements
- Liaise with clients, project engineers, production teams, and installation coordinators to manage delivery, offloading, and installation schedules
- Attend site and client meetings as required
- Monitor installation quality, ensuring all work is completed within required tolerances
- Produce progress reports for Project Engineers
- Carry out inspections, snagging, and handover to client representatives
- Complete and maintain accurate ITPs, test certificates, and mechanical inspection records
- Ensure all equipment and hired plant is maintained and certified in line with company and site procedures
- Deliver toolbox talks and promote a strong health and safety culture
- Ensure full compliance with RAMS, lift plans, and safe systems of work
- Work across varied environments including wastewater and industrial sites
- Maintain high installation standards at all times
- Report any safety concerns or non-compliance issues

Senior Installation Supervisor Requirements
- Time-served City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
- SSSTS certification (essential)
- CSCS Gold Card
- Installation-related skill cards (multi-discipline experience preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical pipe fitting or similar systems
- Proven supervisory experience within mechanical installation or pipefitting environments
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical installation drawings
- Experience working in industrial, water, or wastewater environments
- Ability to lead teams and deliver work safely and efficiently to programme deadlines
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home regularly (UK, Ireland & Europe)
