About the Role
Do you have the experience to lead others and deliver unforgettable outdoor adventures? If you do, join Buzz Active as a Senior Instructor and play a key role in shaping safe, exciting outdoor experiences for schools, community groups and the public across East Sussex.
As a Senior Instructor, you’ll lead sessions, support instructors, and help manage the daily operations of our busy outdoor centres. You’ll be based across three stunning sites — Eastbourne for sailing and windsurfing, Cuckmere for paddle sports, and Bushy Wood for land-based and residential activities. You’ll oversee delivery standards, mentor instructors, and ensure our high-quality safety and learning procedures are maintained across all activities.
We Are Looking For
- Candidates who hold a relevant senior qualification such as RYA Senior Instructor, PaddleUK Paddlesport Coach or Leader, Mountain Training CWI, or ERCA High Ropes Instructor.
- Candidates with experience leading and mentoring instructional teams in a centre or club environment.
- Candidates who can work confidently with groups from a range of ages and abilities.
- Candidates with strong communication and organisational skills.
- Candidates who hold valid First Aid training appropriate to the role.
