Senior Integration Architect – Pharmaceutical
£625 per day | Outside IR35
10 days across 2–3 weeks | Fully remote
We are looking for a Senior Integration Architect to complete a short assessment for a pharmaceutical organisation.
The client needs to determine whether its current point-to-point API integrations remain suitable or whether it requires a shared integration layer or hybrid approach.
You will:
- Review the existing applications, APIs, interfaces, and data flows.
- Identify critical dependencies, operational risks, and manual workarounds.
- Assess scalability, resilience, maintainability, and supportability.
- Consider pharmaceutical data, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Compare point-to-point, integration-platform, and hybrid options.
- Recommend a target approach, priorities, and practical roadmap.
- Present the findings to senior stakeholders.

Essential experience:
- Senior integration architecture or consulting experience.
- Previous pharmaceutical-sector experience.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, middleware, and integration platforms.
- Experience assessing current-state and target-state integration architecture.
- Understanding of regulated data, traceability, and audit requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills.
