Job Description
As one of the world's largest networks of audit, tax and consulting firms, RSM delivers big ideas and premium service to help middle-market businesses thrive. We are a fast-growing firm with big ambitions -- we have a clear goal to become the premium adviser to the middle market, globally. This vision touches everything we do, motivating and inspiring us to become better every day. If you are looking for a firm where you can build a future and make an impact, then RSM is the place for you.
Make an Impact at RSM UK
The Senior Integration Engineer designs and implements robust, scalable and secure integrations across RSM’s application landscapes. Working hands-on with integration platforms such as Workato and Azure Integration Services, this role bridges architectural design with development delivery, ensuring each integration aligns with RSM’s standards and intended change outcomes.
As RSM operates a federated IT model, the Senior Integration Engineer will play a key role in aligning integration approaches across decentralised teams to ensure consistency, security and best-practice adoption.
You Will Make An Impact By
- Designing integration solutions that align with RSM’s architectural standards and security frameworks.
- Developing, configuring and deploying integration workflows, connectors and integrations.
- Supporting initiatives within the federated IT model across Audit, Tax and Consulting, helping to align integration approaches across decentralised teams.
- Peer reviewing integrations to ensure they meet quality, performance and security benchmarks.
- Defining and maintaining integration design templates, reusable components, design patterns and technical guidelines.
- Working with change owners and technical teams to translate integration requirements into technical deliverables.
- Designing integrations that maximise reuse of MCP services and managed connectors, while defining patterns that reduce the need for point-to-point integrations.
- Evaluating emerging integration capabilities within RSM’s existing vendor network and supporting incident resolution and performance optimisation for integration flows.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

- Proven ability to design robust integrations, including retries, monitoring hooks, graceful failure handling and happy-path flows.
- Good understanding of common data modelling and enterprise objects such as customers, services and employees.
- Experience designing integrations with auditability, traceability, performance, volume, latency and supportability in mind.
- Experience working with architectural standards and patterns, estimating integration work and clearly communicating risks and trade-offs.
- Relevant certification or professional development in data integrations architecture, DevOps, data management, Azure, governance or SFIA-aligned disciplines would be beneficial.
