Remote first with occasional travel

Active SC clearance required

iO Associates are aligned with a Central Government client to recruit a Senior Interaction Designer to help shape and deliver accessible, user-centred digital services.

You will bring real depth in interaction design and be comfortable working across the wider experience (not just designing screens). You'll lead design through discovery, alpha and delivery, translating complex user and business needs into clear, usable interaction journeys.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading interaction design across discovery, alpha and delivery phases
  • Translating complex needs into user-centred flows, interaction models and service journeys
  • Producing wireframes, prototypes, patterns and design assets to support evidence-based decisions
  • Facilitating workshops and working directly with users/customers and stakeholders
  • Collaborating day-to-day with user research, service design, content design and engineering teams
  • Supporting delivery teams to ensure solutions are accessible, usable and buildable

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
