Job Title: Senior Intercompany Accounts Payable Clerk

As a Senior Intercompany Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a key role in managing complex intercompany accounts payable activities across multiple business entities. You'll ensure the accurate processing of invoices, timely payment of intercompany transactions, and effective reconciliation of balances while maintaining compliance with internal controls and financial policies. Acting as a senior member of the AP team, you'll provide expert support, drive process improvements, and serve as a trusted point of contact for stakeholders across the business.

What You Will Do
- Processes intercompany invoices, debit notes and credit notes accurately and in accordance with company policies and service-level agreements.
- Ensures correct GL coding, tax treatment, and alignment with intercompany agreements or purchase orders.
- Performs monthly intercompany AP reconciliations and ensures balances match with counterpart AR teams.
- Investigates and resolves discrepancies before month-end deadlines.
- Acts as a senior point of contact for intercompany AP queries from internal teams, auditors, and global finance partners.
- Ensures compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and audit standards.
- Supports the AP Manager with KPI tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong understanding of intercompany accounting and AP processes
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict month-end deadlines
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reconciliations)
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability
