Senior Interior Designer, Leading Workplace D&B Firm
London | Full-Time | Permanent | £85,000–£95,000 + Project-Based Bonus
We are partnering with a leading design and build workplace specialist looking for an experienced Senior Interior Designer to join their growing London team. This is an opportunity to take ownership of high-profile commercial workplace projects, leading clients from initial pitch through to project completion while working alongside a talented multidisciplinary team.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded designer who enjoys presenting to clients, managing multiple stakeholders, and delivering exceptional workplace environments.
The Role
As a Senior Interior Designer, you will lead projects throughout the full design lifecycle, taking responsibility for both the creative vision and successful project delivery. You will play a key role in winning new work through compelling client presentations while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest design standards.
Working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams, you will manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creativity with commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead workplace interior design projects from concept through to completion.
- Deliver engaging client pitches, presentations and design workshops to help secure new business.
- Develop innovative workplace concepts that respond to client briefs and commercial objectives.
- Manage the full project lifecycle, including design development, technical coordination and site support.
- Produce and review design packages, presentations and technical drawing information.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors and project managers throughout delivery.
- Mentor and support junior designers, promoting collaboration and high design standards.
- Attend client meetings, site visits and design reviews as required.
- Ensure projects are delivered on programme, within budget and to an exceptional level of quality.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Interior Designer within the commercial workplace sector.
- Minimum of three years’ experience working within a Design & Build (D&B) environment.
- Strong experience managing projects from initial client pitch through to completion.
- Excellent presentation and client-facing skills with confidence leading workshops and pitches.
- Strong technical understanding of workplace interior design and project delivery.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
- Revit experience is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD, with Revit considered a significant advantage.
- Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
