Lead cutting-edge, contemporary commercial and workplace interiors from concept to completion within a creative, sociable London design studio
Position:
Senior Interior Designer with strong Revit skills and proven experience in traditional commercial workplace design. You will bring fresh ideas and a strong architectural eye to projects, developing concepts into detailed, buildable interiors and maintaining the design intent through to completion.
Working closely with the design lead, you will take ownership of projects, prepare client pitches and presentations, and develop layouts, material schemes, specifications, and technical drawing packages. You will coordinate with consultants and contractors, manage deadlines and budgets, and attend site to review progress and resolve design queries. Supporting junior designers and organizing the team’s workload will also form part of your role.
Candidate:
- Proven experience in traditional commercial/architectural practice. Around 5 to 7 years’ interior design experience, with a portfolio showcasing contemporary and bespoke concepts and successfully delivered projects.
- Experience in workplace interiors is essential.
- Strong Revit proficiency is essential, including producing and coordinating detailed technical packages.
- A strong eye for space, proportion, materials, and architectural detailing.
- Experience leading projects, guiding junior designers, and managing team workloads.
- Confident presenting to clients, preparing pitch documents, and explaining design decisions.
- Good knowledge of furniture, finishes, and suppliers, alongside building regulations and sustainable design principles.
- Comfortable coordinating with consultants and contractors and resolving issues on site.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe CS.
- A personable, collaborative approach, with the energy and humor to enjoy a close-knit, sociable team.
- Must have valid Right to Work (RTW) in the UK.

This London studio creates contemporary interiors with a strong architectural approach and an appetite for fresh ideas. The team is creative, sociable, and close-knit, with friendships extending beyond projects and plenty of room for a laugh alongside the work. They are looking for someone who will enjoy that atmosphere and contribute to it, while bringing the experience and drive to deliver ambitious designs.
