NBAX Destination Architecture is an international architecture studio specializing in hospitality, destination architecture, and high-end residential projects. Our portfolio ranges from ski resorts in the Austrian Alps and theaters on remote mountain cliffs in China to luxury hotels and landmark developments in Saudi Arabia.
Working across architecture, interiors, and landscape design, we combine ambitious design thinking with technical precision and commercial understanding. Our international teams collaborate closely with developers, operators, and consultants to deliver distinctive, high-quality projects worldwide.
Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Site Supervisor to oversee the execution of luxury hospitality and residential interiors on a landmark project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The successful candidate will represent NBAX on-site, safeguarding design intent, workmanship, and quality throughout construction, fit-out, and handover. The role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and international design teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise interior fit-out works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, material selections, and design intent.
- Monitor workmanship, finishes, detailing, and installation quality to meet luxury hospitality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, identify discrepancies, and coordinate timely resolution of technical and quality issues.
- Review shop drawings, material submissions, samples, and mock-ups for alignment with design requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and the NBAX design team.
- Monitor construction progress, identify potential delays or risks, and support effective site coordination.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, site observations, issue logs, and daily and weekly progress reports.
- Support testing, snagging, final inspections, and handover procedures.
- Monitor compliance with applicable project requirements, local regulations, and site safety procedures.

Qualifications
- Extensive experience in interior site supervision, preferably on five-star hotels, luxury residences, or large-scale mixed-use developments.
- Strong familiarity with European design standards, construction detailing, material specifications, and quality expectations, particularly in high-end hospitality and residential interiors.
- Strong technical understanding of interior construction, fit-out methods, specialist finishes, joinery, and architectural detailing.
- Proven ability to interpret and review detailed drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and material submissions.
- Excellent eye for detail and a strong understanding of the quality expectations associated with luxury hospitality projects.
- Experience coordinating multiple trades and resolving complex site conditions while maintaining design integrity.
- Experience working on Middle Eastern projects, preferably in Saudi Arabia, with an understanding of regional project workflows, consultant coordination, approval procedures, and construction practices. Previous residence or physical work experience in the Middle East is not required.
- Strong communication, reporting, and organizational skills, including the ability to work with international design and consultant teams.
- Degree or relevant technical qualification in architecture, interior design, civil engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional proficiency in English.

Location & Working Conditions
- Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
- Employment: Full-time, on-site
- Working schedule: Six days per week
- Project: High-profile luxury hospitality and residential development
Long-Term Opportunities
While the initial appointment is project-based in Jeddah, there may be opportunities to transition into a studio-based position in London or Germany, or to take on site supervision roles on other international projects following completion of the assignment. Such opportunities would depend on project requirements, individual performance, and mutual agreement.
