About the Team and Role

It helps the organization accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
In this role you will work alongside the Internal Audit Manager, and be responsible for supporting the Head of Internal Audit in the provision of appropriate assurance to the Inigo Group’s Board and Audit Committees on the adequacy and effectiveness of the organisation’s internal control environment. The role is required to act with integrity, due skill, care, and diligence, and be open and co-operative with the FCA, the PRA, Lloyd’s, and other regulators. In addition to the above key responsibilities, the Internal Audit Manager may be required to undertake other duties from time to time as the Company may reasonably require.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
