Audit & Risk Recruitment are partnering with a leading Fintech organisation in the search for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their established Internal Audit function.
Reporting directly to the Global Head of Internal Audit, this is a high-visibility role with exposure to senior management, the Board, Audit Committee, and external auditors.
The business is currently preparing for an IPO, having grown significantly from its origins as a payments business. The organisation now operates across a broad technology-led ecosystem, creating an interesting and varied risk environment for Internal Audit.

In this role, you will focus on delivering regulatory, compliance and operational audits across European markets, with particular emphasis on the evolving European regulatory landscape. This position is well suited to someone who enjoys working autonomously while partnering closely with stakeholders across a complex, international organisation. Due to the international nature of the business, this role will also require you to travel up to 20% to locations across Europe.
The successful candidate must have Internal Audit experience, gained within a Financial Services environment, ideally within payments, fintech or another highly regulated environment. A deep understanding of European regulation and internal controls is required, alongside a genuine curiosity around data, risk and understanding what sits behind the numbers.
