IAC have been exclusively engaged by a global organisation for an experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join its growing Internal Audit team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse, multinational business, delivering risk-based audits, engaging with senior stakeholders and supporting continuous improvement across the organisation. The role includes exciting international travel of approximately 20-25% during the year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver internal audits across business units, subsidiaries and corporate functions.
  • Lead audit assignments where appropriate and support delivery of the annual audit plan.
  • Assess key business risks and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Produce high-quality audit reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Support financial control testing and governance activities.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across international operations.

You will be degree educated (or equivalent) and ACA, ACCA, CIMA or IIA qualified, or be qualified by relevant experience.

The successful candidate will likely have:

  • Experience in internal or external audit within a complex organisation.
  • Strong understanding of business risk and internal controls.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and report-writing skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills; SAP or data analytics experience is advantageous.
  • The confidence to engage with senior stakeholders and work independently.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally.
