Senior Internal Auditor - FTSE 100

London

30-40% global travel

Astrum Search is working alongside a global FTSE 100 to recruit a new Senior Internal Auditor in London.

The business has performed very well in recent years and continues to go from strength-to-strength. The team is well respected and has a global remit. As such, travel in the region of 30-40% of the time is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the team to plan and prepare audit projects, ensuring key risks are considered.
  • Delivered audits in line with department and IIA standards.
  • Prepare working papers and present findings to senior management.
  • Write clear and concise audit reports detailing key findings, control weaknesses and suggested improvements.
  • Follow up with management to address key issues and ensure action is taken on control weaknesses.

Skills & Experience:

  • Hold a recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA preferred).
  • External audit experience essential and internal audit experience highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; strong attention to detail.
  • Able to influence and persuade senior stakeholders.
