Senior Internal Auditor Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity to join a well-established internal audit function within a large, complex, and highly interesting organization, has arisen at Senior Internal Auditor grade.
Specifically, the company is looking to really move forward and embrace data analytics and the utilization of AI tools, so if you have experience in these areas, please make sure your CV reflects it!
Role Overview
Beyond this, the role will offer plenty of autonomy, taking responsibility for a varied portfolio of risk-based audits from initial planning through to reporting and follow-up. Assignments will cover a broad mix of operational, project, and systems-focused areas, providing excellent exposure across the wider organization.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, assessing the effectiveness of risk management and controls, identifying areas for improvement, and providing practical recommendations that help drive positive change.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone with strong internal audit, risk, or wider assurance experience, ideally covering operational and project-based reviews.

- You’ll need excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ideally, a relevant professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CIIA/IIA.
- The company will consider those from an external audit background (Big 4/Top 10 firm), although you will need to demonstrate use of data analytics and automation.
Benefits
The position offers flexible/hybrid working (3 days in the office/2 days from home), alongside a competitive salary and benefits package.
You must also have full UK working rights and relevant UK working experience, as sponsorship is not available.
