To keep up with our growth in the UK and Ireland, we’re looking for a dedicated Senior International Consultant to lead strategic client relationships, deliver high-quality consulting services, and contribute to the growth of our international benefits portfolio. This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibility, including oversight and development of Account Managers.
You will act as a trusted advisor to multinational clients, aligning global benefit strategies with local requirements, while driving client engagement, retention, and revenue growth. In addition, this role will have line management responsibility for Consultants and Account Managers within their client team, ensuring their effective performance, development, and engagement.

- Significant experience in international employee benefits.
- Demonstrated experience managing senior client relationships.
- Previous line management experience preferred.
Using These Skills, You’ll Be
- Owning and leading client relationships, acting as the primary strategic and technical advisor.
- Delivering strategic reviews for key and multinational clients, aligning benefits programs with global objectives.
- Developing a deep understanding of each client’s global strategy and provide tailored, compliant solutions across multiple jurisdictions.
- Providing expert guidance on international benefits structures, including multinational pooling and country-specific regulations.
- Ensuring all recommendations meet regulatory requirements (including IDD) and are appropriate to client needs.
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities from existing clients or existing client contacts.
- Supporting and contributing to the delivery of the business plan and revenue growth objectives.
- Collaborating with Sales teams on pitches, onboarding, and client transition processes.
- Ensuring all CRM systems are updated and accurately reflect your client portfolio.
- Maintaining high service standards, ensuring prompt and effective responses to client queries.
- Taking overall responsibility for the workflow within your client team to ensure SLAs are met along with agreed client deliverables.
- Overseeing the delivery and quality assurance of client reports, communications, and recommendations.
- Working closely with Finance and the Head of Global on fee discussions, invoicing, and commercial arrangements.
- Ensuring client service agreements are understood, maintained, and delivered against.
- Providing direct line management for your client team, including:
- Performance management, objective setting, and regular reviews
- Coaching, mentoring, and professional development
- Work allocation and oversight to ensure quality and efficiency
- Ensuring your client team deliver high standards of client service and administrative accuracy.
- Acting as a role model, fostering a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training of client team where required.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with international colleagues (e.g., US, Canada, Ireland), as well as UK consultants.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to deliver seamless global client service.
- Engaging effectively with insurers, providers, and third parties.
- Supporting the Head of Global with advancing strategic projects
- Maintaining and continuously developing advanced technical knowledge of international benefits.
- Staying informed on regulatory, market, and product developments across jurisdictions.
- Sharing knowledge within the team and contribute to overall capability building.
