Contract type: Fixed Term

Location: London

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of multi-sector investment strategies by providing high-quality investment analysis, financial modelling, and transaction structuring expertise across a range of property initiatives.

Working closely with the Investment Director, Portfolio Fund Managers, and wider Property team, you will contribute to the development of new investment propositions, support cross-fund portfolio business planning, and provide analytical insight to inform asset-level business plans. This is an excellent opportunity to influence investment decision-making and help drive the performance and growth of RLAM's property portfolios.

About The Role

  • Report directly to the Portfolio Fund Manager, providing analytical support to inform multi-sector investment strategy and decision-making.
  • Deliver detailed investment analysis and financial modelling to evaluate new property investment opportunities and propositions.
  • Support the structuring of transactions, helping to assess risk, return, and overall investment viability.
  • Partner with Portfolio Fund Managers to provide cross-fund investment analysis and financial modelling for portfolio business plans.
  • Produce high-quality financial analysis and performance forecasts to support strategic planning across property funds.
  • Work closely with the wider Property team to develop and enhance asset business plans through robust investment insights and modelling expertise.

About You

  • Previous exposure to real estate business is required. The candidate is expected to have excellent in-depth knowledge of the property investment and occupational sectors, the wider economy and the other asset classes.
  • Maintain a clear understanding and experience of wide range of investment processes, including valuation approaches, development and funding.
  • Good understanding and experience of asset management, investment and development processes, including valuations, DCF appraisals and financial models.
  • Exhibit an ability to work on one’s own and within a team framework and provide mentoring, coaching and advice to other members of the team.
  • Ensure a sound knowledge of legal/economic framework and their impact upon property investment market.
  • CFA / ACA / MRICS Qualified (or similar professional qualification) preferred.
  • Systems - Experience with Anaplan (highly desirable), Power BI and Argus Enterprise considered a plus. Strong Excel skills with experience in financial modelling.
