Senior Investment Analyst

Location(s): Edinburgh, Leeds or Bristol

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced pensions investment professional to join the in-house pensions investments team. The successful candidate will be part of the in-house pensions investment and funding team which supports the trustee of the Lloyds Banking Group pension schemes in managing both the Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) arrangements. The candidate will also be expected to contribute to a broad range of strategic, manager oversight and governance activities across the team.

This role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders, trustees, investment managers and advisers, and is suited to an individual who enjoys operating across multiple investment disciplines rather than specialising in a single area.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Strategy & Oversight

  • Support the development and implementation of DB and DC investment strategies.
  • Conduct investment research and contribute to strategic reviews.
  • Monitor investment performance, risk and portfolio positioning across a range of asset classes.
  • Support asset manager selection, appointment and ongoing oversight activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
