My Leeds based client are currently hiring for an experienced Senior Investment Assistant to join their established team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to act as a valued member of the business providing. You will be part of a team of experts, acting as the go to contacts for a number of business needs and helping to ensure the seamless running of the day to day business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as a key point of contact for a number of queries for internal and external clients assisting with admin and process challenges.
- Help to manage internal and external clients and assist with ad hoc enquiries.
- Monitor the quality of administration processes and services provided by the team to ensure consistent standards and outputs.
- Ensure the team are meeting all cut off points and deadlines for client queries including trading and regulatory requirements.
- Operate as an account opening SME ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements are met for on-boarding of all new clients.
- Assist with delegating roles to the investment support team and ensure fair work allocation and output.
- Support team members with professional development and on the job learning.
- Act as a collaborative partner with other business areas including CDD and overall compliance.
- Act as deputy for managers during times of leave covering meetings and updates as required.
- Ensure all team processes fall in line with external requirements and business best practice.

Key Experience
- Experience supporting Front office investment functions within the Investment Management industry.
- Generates new ideas/initiatives to ensure the effectiveness of the Team. Looks for ways to improve current processes.
- Level 4 IAD would be highly valuable - willingness to undertake this qualification would also be beneficial if it is not already obtained.
- Experience of team management or supervision including managing on compliance and regulatory requirements is essential.
- Strong experience of undertaking a high volume of administration tasks within Investment Management.
- FCA regulatory experience is essential for this role.
- Evidence of being able to manage and prioritise team workload as well as your own tasks is a critical requirement for this role.
