Senior Investment Associate, Lower-Mid Market Private Equity

The Opportunity
Finatal are partnered with a fantastic, entrepreneurial lower-mid market private equity fund who are looking to add an experienced Investment Associate to their lean but high-performing team. They are pan-European, and invest in founder-led businesses in the services space. They are now entering a new phase on growth, hence looking to grow the team, but have a referenceable track-record spanning 10+ years.

The Role
- Identifying and originating new proprietary investment and bolt-on opportunities through direct outreach to founders/management teams.
- Assessing potential investment opportunities in line with the platform's investment thesis.
- Conducting due diligence, financial modelling, writing IC memos and so on.
- Taking portfolio responsibilities and supporting management teams on M&A and subsequent integration, as well as on organic growth strategies.

The Requirements
- 4-7 years' of relevant experience, including at least 1 year of direct private equity investing experience.
- Demonstrable ability to generate and maintain new relationships.
- Experience across services deals helpful, though not essential.
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Excellent academic track-record.
- Personal characteristics: ambitious and collaborative but with ability to work independently and take the initiative.
