Salary
Up to £70,000 dependent upon experience plus an indicative bonus range of 16% to 32%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more.

The role
You will lead the development of investment proposition content that supports business growth, client engagement and commercial success, with a particular focus on our RFP, Pitch & Client Delivery service, you'll create compelling investment communications that showcase our capabilities, articulate the value of our solutions and help win and retain business.

Working across Investments, Distribution, Product and Marketing, you'll develop investment messaging, thought leadership and client-facing content that is clear, engaging and technically robust. You'll act as a trusted communications expert, translating complex investment concepts into impactful materials tailored to adviser and client audiences.
You'll also play a key role in shaping how we communicate our investment proposition, using market insight, customer understanding and proposition expertise to continuously improve content quality and effectiveness, while ensuring communications remain accurate, compliant and aligned to strategic business objectives.
This is an excellent opportunity to influence a high-profile area of the business, working at the intersection of investments, client engagement and proposition development to support the continued growth of Standard Life's business.
What we’re looking for
- Strong investment proposition and financial services knowledge
- Experience developing content for RFPs, pitches, client communications or investment proposition materials
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex investment concepts into clear, engaging and persuasive content
- Strong stakeholder management, planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Customer-focused and insight-led approach to communication development
- Sound judgement, attention to detail and the ability to balance commercial, customer and regulatory considerations
