Senior Investment Manager | Investment Manager
£85,000 - £145,000 base salary
Revenue Bonus
Benefits Package
North West
Golden Hello: Up to 100% of trailing 12-month revenue (approx. 1% of AuM), paid in two instalments at 18 and 30 months. Scaled based on client book.
Revenue Share: 10% share of revenue ongoing, paid monthly in arrears.
Role Purpose
As a Senior Investment Manager, you will lead the delivery of bespoke investment strategies for high-net-worth clients, institutions, and family offices. You’ll be responsible for managing complex portfolios, driving business growth, and contributing to the strategic direction of the firm. This is a client-facing leadership role requiring deep market insight, regulatory expertise, and a proven ability to build long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of discretionary and advisory client accounts
- Develop tailored investment strategies aligned with client objectives, risk profiles, and tax considerations
- Lead client meetings, reviews, and presentations to ensure exceptional service and retention
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated wealth solutions across asset classes
- Contribute to investment committee discussions and research initiatives
- Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and internal governance frameworks
- Mentor junior investment professionals and support team development
- Uphold the firm’s ethical standards and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles

Qualifications & Experience
- CISI Level 7 Chartered Wealth Manager (or equivalent)
- Extensive experience managing investment portfolios and client relationships
- Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and regulatory landscape
- Proven track record in business development and revenue growth
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and portfolio management systems
