Our client invests in, and then asset manages, Non-Performing Loans (NPLs). They are looking to hire 2 x investment managers, with a minimum of around 5 years' experience, for their European business.

Salary is dependent on experience, but up to a maximum of £100,000 + performance-related, discretionary bonus + benefits.

Are you an advisor, accountant, or consultant, working for an accounting firm or consultancy, with European NPL experience, looking to become an investor? Are you a banker, working in securitisation or (potentially) DCM, looking to move onto the principle side? Are you already working at an NPL investor that has capital constraints and are ready to make a move to a market leader? Then get in touch!

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

European NPL experience is essential, whether that be as an advisor, accountant, consultant, investor or banker. Strong analytical skills are a must; commercial acumen is also essential. Fluency in a second European language, ideally Portuguese, French or Greek, is highly desirable, but not essential.

Our client is flexible on location, albeit most likely to be in London. They offer a hybrid working environment.
