About the role:
This is a senior front-office investment role responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth and institutional clients across the Middle East.
The position requires deep regional understanding, strong investment acumen, and the ability to build trusted, long-term relationships with sophisticated investors.
You’ll act as a strategic advisor, portfolio manager, and regional specialist within a high-performing Mayfair investment team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and expand a portfolio of Middle Eastern private clients, family offices, and institutional investors.
- Deliver tailored investment strategies across multi-asset portfolios, aligned with client objectives and risk profiles.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis, macroeconomic reviews, and thematic investment research relevant to the Middle East.
- Present investment proposals, performance updates, and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Research, Trading, Compliance, Wealth Planning) to deliver integrated client solutions.
- Maintain strong awareness of regional regulatory environments, geopolitical developments, and market trends.
- Drive new business development through networking, referrals, and targeted regional engagement.
- Ensure all client interactions meet FCA standards and internal compliance requirements.
- Represent the firm at Middle East–focused conferences, events, and client roadshows.

Required Experience & Skills:
- Proven track record in investment management, wealth management, or portfolio management with Middle East client exposure.
- CFA Level I & II qualified (Level III candidate or charter holder highly advantageous).
- Strong understanding of global markets, asset allocation, and portfolio construction.
- Demonstrated ability to manage HNW/UHNW relationships with cultural sensitivity and commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment concepts clearly.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a significant advantage.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using financial modelling and investment analytics tools.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-performance Mayfair environment.

Preferred Background:
- Experience within a private bank, investment manager, multi-family office, or sovereign wealth fund.
- Exposure to GCC markets (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain) or Levant regions.
- Understanding of Sharia-compliant investment frameworks (desirable but not essential).
- IMC or other relevant investment qualifications.
