We are partnering with a long-established, highly respected UK investment management and stockbroking firm entering an exciting new phase of strategic growth. With a heritage of delivering exceptional discretionary and advisory portfolio management to HNW and UHNW clients, the firm now seeks an accomplished Senior Investment Manager to help shape its next chapter. This role offers genuine autonomy, influence over investment direction, and the opportunity to inherit and expand a high-quality client book within a trusted, FCA-regulated environment. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the management of discretionary and advisory portfolios across multi-asset strategies, ensuring suitability, risk alignment, and long-term performance for HNW and UHNW clients.
- Inherit and steward an established client book while proactively developing new relationships through your professional network and market presence.
- Provide sophisticated investment advice, incorporating tax considerations, market insights, and bespoke portfolio construction.
- Represent the firm in client meetings, presentations, and pitches, articulating investment philosophy with clarity and authority.
- Contribute to investment committee discussions, offering informed views on asset allocation, macro trends, and security selection.
- Play an active role in shaping the firm’s commercial strategy, growth initiatives, and client proposition.
- Uphold the highest standards of FCA compliance, governance, and ethical conduct.

Required Experience & Expertise
- CISI Level 6 or Level 7 (or equivalent) with strong working knowledge of FCA regulatory expectations.
- Proven track record managing discretionary and/or advisory portfolios for HNW/UHNW private clients or family offices.
- Established network of introducers, professional partners, and prospective clients.
- Demonstrable ability to retain, grow, and deepen long-term client relationships built on trust and performance.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and contribute to business growth.
- Confident communicator with the gravitas expected of a senior investment professional.
