Technology-driven organisation in Abu Dhabi at the forefront of building sophisticated digital products. With a focus on operational excellence, automation, security, and modern ways of working, the organisation is seeking an experienced IT Operations Engineer to take ownership of its critical workplace technology ecosystem.
Job Description
- Own the architecture, configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Manage and optimize Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and related Microsoft services.
- Lead the administration and enhancement of endpoint management platforms across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android environments.
- Manage and maintain enterprise identity and access management platforms including Okta and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Administer and optimise device management solutions including Microsoft Intune and Jamf.
- Support and enhance Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Zero Trust technologies including Zscaler.
- Drive workplace technology initiatives focused on automation, user experience, productivity, and security.
- Manage the deployment, governance, and adoption of enterprise AI platforms including Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, and similar productivity technologies.
- Develop and maintain platform standards, operational documentation, policies, and technical roadmaps.
- Partner closely with Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure technology platforms align with security and compliance requirements.
- Act as an escalation point for complex support issues while driving permanent resolutions and platform improvements.
- Lead platform upgrades, migrations, integrations, and transformation initiatives.
- Proactively monitor platform health, performance, security posture, and user experience.
- Identify opportunities to automate operational processes and improve service delivery across the organisation.

The Successful Applicant
- Experience within fintech, FS, investment management, technology, or other highly regulated and security-conscious environments.
- 5-10+ years of experience within IT Operations, Systems Engineering, Workplace Technology, End User Computing, or Infrastructure Engineering environments.
- Strong hands-on experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 enterprise environments.
- Deep expertise across Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and modern workplace technologies.
- Proven experience managing enterprise endpoint environments across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
- Strong experience with identity and access management platforms such as Okta and Entra ID.
- Experience administering Jamf within enterprise macOS environments.
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles and secure access technologies, including Zscaler.
- Experience with device compliance, endpoint security, conditional access, and modern identity management frameworks.
- Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, and related productivity solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities across end-user computing and workplace technologies.
- Experience contributing to platform architecture, design, governance, and technology roadmap discussions.
- Comfortable operating across both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operational support activities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
