Managing the digital transformation portfolio office (TPO) responsible for governing, prioritising and tracking digital and business transformation initiatives across Mace Consult.

Providing executive visibility and control over investment decisions, benefits realisation, delivery performance, portfolio risks, resource capacity and strategic outcomes.

Acting as the central coordination point between Digital, Finance, People, Operations and Executive Leadership.

  • Driving consistency and accountability across the portfolio.
  • Focusing on strategic value creation rather than activity completion.

  • 90% of initiatives delivered within approved tolerances.
  • Portfolio milestone achievement >85%.
  • Budget accuracy within +/-5%.
  • Forecast accuracy within +/-10%.
  • Realised benefits versus committed benefits >80%.
  • 100% programmes operating under approved governance.

You’ll Need To Have

  • Degree or equivalent experience.
  • PMO leadership experience in complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience managing enterprise transformation portfolios exceeding £5m-£10m annual investment.
  • Desirable: MSP, MoP, Prince2, P3O, AgilePM, SAFe or Lean Portfolio Management certification.
  • Enterprise Portfolio Management, benefits realisation, programme Governance and Capacity Planning.
  • Business case development, investment governance and value tracking.
  • Advanced Power BI, Excel, Microsoft Project, Planner, Power Platform, Azure DevOps and Jira.
  • Experience of PPM tools.
  • Executive communication and reporting.
  • Senior stakeholder influence and relationship management.
  • Commercial acumen with understanding of growth, profitability and cash generation.
  • Strong analytical capability and insight generation.
  • High accountability and sound judgement.
