Senior IT Project Manager
Location: London; 3 days working onsite.
Duration: 3-6 months
About the Role
Certain Advantage are recruiting on behalf of our global client for a Senior IT Project Manager who can offer experience working delivering large scale IT/Technology projects within a logistics or commercial operations environments.
Experience delivering projects across areas such as distribution operations, terminals, supply chain, transportation, contracts management/confirmations or other operationally complex environments would be particularly valuable so this experience should be highlighted in your application.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior IT Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the delivery of complex, high-risk and strategically important technology projects that support business objectives and digital transformation goals. The role requires end-to-end accountability for project delivery, ensuring clear governance, effective stakeholder engagement, financial control and successful business outcomes.

- Establish clarity across scope, schedule, costs, dependencies and risks.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through the full project lifecycle.
- Work closely with senior business sponsors, technology teams and suppliers, using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery approaches as appropriate.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience delivering large-scale technology projects with significant business impact and senior stakeholder visibility.
- Strong project planning, governance, financial management, risk management and change control expertise.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across business and technology functions, manage competing priorities and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working with Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery approaches and selecting the most appropriate method for successful outcomes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide clear recommendations and challenge constructively in complex environments.
