Senior IT Project Manager - Salesforce Transformation

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager - Salesforce Transformation based in United Kingdom.

Lead enterprise Salesforce transformation initiatives that simplify complex technology landscapes and enable more scalable digital capabilities. In this role, you will oversee projects spanning Salesforce org simplification, system consolidation, third-party integration rationalization, and digital communication platforms. You will work at the intersection of business, IT, architecture, Salesforce teams, and external partners to drive successful delivery. The position combines strategic planning with hands-on project leadership, governance, risk management, and stakeholder coordination. Your work will directly contribute to more streamlined systems, standardized processes, and improved digital experiences. Accountabilities:

As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will own the end-to-end delivery of Salesforce transformation initiatives, ensuring projects remain aligned with business objectives, technology strategy, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.

  • Lead end-to-end Salesforce transformation projects, including org simplification, system consolidation, and platform optimization.
  • Manage initiatives focused on simplifying Salesforce integrations with third-party applications and reducing application landscape complexity.
  • Drive continuous enhancements to digital communication platforms and related business capabilities.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocation, risks, dependencies, and milestones.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning Business, IT, Salesforce, Architecture, and external vendors.
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment, governance meetings, project status reporting, and executive communications.
  • Monitor delivery progress and ensure project outcomes meet defined quality standards and business and technology objectives.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Support enterprise digital transformation by promoting standardized processes, scalable solutions, and improved system architecture.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines strong enterprise project management experience with hands-on knowledge of Salesforce transformation, integrations, and application rationalization.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing enterprise IT projects.
  • Proven experience delivering Salesforce projects, including CRM implementations, enhancements, or transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce multi-org architectures, integration patterns, and system simplification approaches.
  • Experience managing third-party system integrations and application rationalization initiatives.
  • Basic understanding of enterprise digital communication platforms and related business processes.
  • Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Strong project governance, stakeholder management, risk management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate diverse teams and maintain alignment across business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and dependencies.
