Senior IT Project Manager Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior IT Project Manager to join a world-leading Energy Trading company within the Trading Ops, Shipping Logistics, and Supply Chain space.
- Location: Based in the Waterloo offices for three days a week; remote for two days a week.
- Role Overview: You will be responsible for leading the delivery of complex, high-risk, and strategically important technology projects that support business objectives and digital transformation goals.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-end accountability for project delivery.
- Ensuring clear governance, effective stakeholder engagement, financial control, and successful business outcomes.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working within logistics or commercial operations environments.
- Experience delivering projects across areas such as distribution operations, terminals, supply chain, transportation, contracts management/confirmations, or other operationally complex environments would be particularly valuable.
- Background in large global organisations, regulated industries, energy, or financial services.
- Experience with supplier management and tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, and Jira.
- Extensive experience delivering large-scale technology projects with significant business impact and senior stakeholder visibility.
- Strong project planning, governance, financial management, risk management, and change control expertise.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across business and technology functions, manage competing priorities, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches and selecting the most appropriate method for successful outcomes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP, MSP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification.
