VNI Finance is delighted to be working in partnership with our International private equity-backed client to recruit a 6-month FTC Senior IT SOX Control Analyst.
Our client is a global leader in providing energy solutions and is going through an exciting period of growth.
Role Overview:
- Support the design and operation of IT SOX controls aligned to governance frameworks (e.g. COBIT, ISO 27001)
- Drive remediation of IT control deficiencies, working with control owners to implement solutions
- Track and monitor remediation progress, maintaining action logs and following up on overdue items
- Support the execution of SOX activities, including walkthroughs, control testing, and evidence collection.
- Reporting on control effectiveness, risks, and remediation status
- Work with IT and business stakeholders to support effective control execution
- Assist with internal and external audit requests, gathering evidence and coordinating responses
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the IT controls environment

Candidate Background:
- Experience in IT controls, IT audit, SOX, or IT risk (ideally 3–6 years)
- Understanding of ITGCs (access, change, operations)
- Experience supporting SOX testing and/or remediation activities
- Strong organisation skills and ability to track multiple activities
- Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Familiarity with GRC tools (e.g. Workiva) is helpful
