Senior IT Support Engineer
London – On-site
£40,000 – £50,000 + £4,000 car allowance
VIQU are partnering with a leading organisation seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to support its multi-site IT infrastructure. This hands-on role focuses on second and third line support, Microsoft technologies, networking and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will take ownership of technical issues, support new site setups and help integrate new businesses into the wider IT environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior IT Support Engineer
- Resolve second and third line escalations across infrastructure and Microsoft technologies
- Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online and Entra ID across multiple tenants
- Manage Intune, Conditional Access and the transition from SCCM to Intune
- Maintain Windows Server, Hyper-V, backups and recovery
- Support networking across sites, including switching, firewalls, wireless and VPNs
- Deliver IT setups for new construction sites, including connectivity and equipment provisioning
- Support the integration of new offices, businesses and users
- Manage Mimecast email security and work with external suppliers
- Maintain service desk records, asset management and technical documentation

Key Experience Required of the Senior IT Support Engineer
- Strong second or third line IT support or infrastructure engineering experience
- Hands-on Windows Server and Microsoft 365 administration
- Experience with Entra ID, Conditional Access, Intune and/or SCCM
- Good networking knowledge, including firewalls, VPNs and multi-site connectivity
- Experience with virtualisation, ideally Hyper-V, and backup and recovery
- Ability to troubleshoot independently and take ownership of issues
- Experience working with suppliers and delivering infrastructure projects
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to offices and construction sites
