About The Role

Our client is looking for an experienced, customer-focused Senior IT Technician to join their team. This is a varied role that blends advanced service desk support with hands-on project delivery - you'll be the escalation point for complex technical issues while also planning and delivering infrastructure projects, system deployments, and technology upgrades directly at customer sites.

If you thrive on solving tricky problems, enjoy building genuine relationships with customers, and want a role where no two days look the same, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing 2nd and 3rd line technical support across telephone, remote access, email, and ticketing systems
  • Diagnosing and resolving complex IT incidents, acting as the go-to escalation point for 1st line technicians and apprentices
  • Planning and delivering customer infrastructure projects end-to-end - from initial scoping through to handover
  • Installing and supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, and Hyper-V environments, plus networking, firewalls, Wi-Fi, backup, and cyber security solutions
  • Carrying out site surveys, migrations, upgrades, and technical assessments
  • Building strong customer relationships and acting as a trusted technical advisor
  • Mentoring junior engineers and apprentices, and championing best practice across the team

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
