Senior IT Technician - Aureus School, Didcot

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Senior IT Technician to join the GLF Schools IT Team, supporting Aureus School and other schools across the Didcot area when required.

You will provide first and second-line IT support, troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues, support the rollout of new technologies, and help ensure IT services enhance teaching and learning. You'll work closely with local school staff, the wider Trust IT team, and senior IT colleagues across Surrey and Oxfordshire.

What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar IT support role
  • Experience with hardware and software installation, configuration, and deployment
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Understanding of ITIL, service delivery, and project delivery

This is a site-based role at Aureus School, Didcot, with occasional travel to other GLF Schools and Trust training events. A full UK driving licence is helpful but not essential if you can meet the travel requirements of the role.

  • Salary: £27,061 - £30,791 FTE (GLF Specialist Point 1-16)
  • Hours: 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
  • Location: Aureus School, Didcot
  • Start Date: ASAP
