Could you work in a fast-paced and ever-evolving IT environment, where details matter and first impressions are critical? One moment you may be supporting a user's laptop on their first day on the job, the next you may be supporting our 1st line agents in a Major Incident. If this sounds like an environment you will thrive in, please read on!
This role requires attention to detail and enthusiasm to learn. You will be fully supported in a warm and welcoming team but will be expected to work independently and to use initiative. This role offers a huge amount of learning opportunities through supporting customers, 1st line agents, the Service Hub Manager, project involvement, and day-to-day on-the-job duties. This role is very rewarding and has transferable skills into other roles within IT&D.
We are looking for candidates with:
- Experience working in a fast-paced IT support environment.
- Ability to plan and organize a varied workload for self and others, working to short deadlines.
- Ability to demonstrate resilience, an example of which could be responding to a difficult situation.
- Ability to use technology as part of the role: Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, laptops, corporate iPhones, and surface hubs.
- Ability to use research to inform the content of reports where appropriate, and the ability to produce clear and accessible reports to be shared with managers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
