Senior Java Developers - Contract - Inside IR35
Location: London (2–3 days per week onsite)
Rate: £750–£800 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract Length: 12 months
We're looking for an experienced Senior Java Developers to join a high-performing engineering team delivering large-scale, cloud-native applications. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, business-critical systems using modern technologies within a collaborative Agile environment.
What you'll be doing
- Designing and developing scalable, high-performance Java applications.
- Building and maintaining cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Developing and deploying containerised microservices using Kubernetes.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Contributing to technical design, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Driving continuous improvement across development and deployment processes.

Essential skills
- Strong commercial experience with Java.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes and containerised applications.
- Experience building microservices and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Experience with Spring Boot and related Java frameworks.
- Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging technologies.
