DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS
On behalf of Companies House, we are looking for a Senior Java Developer Inside IR35 for a contract 16 month based REMOTELY.
SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active SC clearance.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a long-term digital programme with Companies House.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a developer who is comfortable working across both legacy Java Enterprise applications and modern Java microservices, helping support and develop services across a varied technology estate.
The role is predominantly remote, with an expectation to attend the office approximately four times per year, and offers an initial 16-month engagement.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll work across a combination of legacy and modern systems, using your Java development expertise to develop, maintain and enhance business-critical digital services.
The environment includes both traditional Java Enterprise technologies and more modern Spring Boot and microservices-based applications, so we're looking for someone who can confidently operate across both.
