Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer with 8+ years of Java application development experience and a strong background in designing, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures, with hands-on experience building cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
The role requires strong practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), alongside Azure services including Azure API Management (APIM) and Azure messaging/PubSub technologies. Candidates should also have a strong understanding of Redis caching, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices, with experience using tools such as Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, or equivalent technologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing microservices-based applications, implementing containerized and cloud-native solutions, developing and managing APIs, and delivering event-driven and messaging solutions. They will also focus on application performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability, while collaborating closely with Architecture, DevOps, QA, and Business teams.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is essential, as is a strong track record of participating in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design activities.
Experience within the Brokerage or Capital Markets domain would be advantageous, particularly exposure to trading platforms, order management systems, or other financial applications. Additional experience with monitoring and logging technologies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) would also be beneficial.

- 8+ years of experience in Java application development

- Strong knowledge of Redis Caching
- Experience with REST APIs and event-driven architecture
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Key Responsibilities
