The Opportunity
They are looking for an exceptional Principal / Senior Java Developer to join a high-calibre engineering team, working alongside some of the industry's strongest developers, architects, and technical leaders.
This is an opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and wants to work on high-scale, business-critical technology at the intersection of financial services and next-generation digital assets.

Essential
- Strong commercial experience with Java
- Extensive experience developing server-side Java applications
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
- Experience working on complex, high-scale systems
- Strong understanding of application architecture and design
- Linux experience
- Experience working within financial services, fintech, trading, or another highly technical environment
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and modern software architecture
- Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with ambiguity and incomplete information
Blockchain / Digital Asset Experience

- Experience within blockchain, digital assets, or decentralised technologies would be highly advantageous.
- The firm is particularly interested in engineers who have hands-on experience working with ecosystems such as:
- EVM / Ethereum-compatible environments
- Canton
- Solana
- Smart contracts and blockchain-based applications
- Blockchain infrastructure and integrations
- Distributed ledger technology
- On-chain data and transaction processing
- Digital asset platforms
- High-throughput or low-latency distributed systems
