About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our client’s dynamic engineering team. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Java development, with proven experience in enterprise-level applications. A solid understanding of SQL and database management is essential. Candidates should have hands-on experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies, demonstrating adaptability and collaborative skills. Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and automation tools such as Jenkins, Gradle, or similar are required. Additionally, familiarity with modern development practices and tools is highly desirable. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, although equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade software applications aligned with business requirements and technical standards.
- Deliver high-quality, efficient, and scalable code within Agile Scrum teams, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Champion the adoption of automated testing, TDD, and CI/CD pipelines to improve software reliability and deployment frequency.
- Support technical leadership by contributing to architecture decisions, code reviews, and development standards.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, optimize frameworks, and contribute to tooling enhancements to streamline development workflows.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product owners, QA, and DevOps, to deliver innovative and robust technical solutions.
