Java Developer – HealthTech Scale-Up

Bracknell, Berkshire (Hybrid)

Up to £90,000 + Benefits

Multiple roles

We’re partnering with one of the UK’s fastest-growing HealthTech scale-ups, transforming how hospitals deliver care through modern, cloud-based technology. In just a few years, the business has evolved from a disruptive start-up into a trusted technology partner to major NHS Trusts, with its platform now widely used by clinicians across the UK. Replacing outdated legacy systems with intuitive, user-centric tools, they are improving how healthcare teams operate — and ultimately enhancing patient outcomes.

With multiple industry awards, major contracts secured, and a growing customer base, the company is entering a significant scale-up phase, targeting 350–400 employees over the coming years.

The Opportunity

They are hiring two Senior Java Developers to play a key role in delivering long-term, high-impact projects while helping shape the future of the platform and wider engineering function. You’ll join a high-performing team of 20+ engineers, working on a mix of greenfield and evolving systems, contributing across a full-stack, microservices architecture. This is more than just a coding role — it’s an opportunity to build technology that directly improves lives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
