Senior Java Developer
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer for our client, a well-established, global financial institution undergoing large-scale digital transformation.
Working model: Hybrid, with 3 days a week onsite in London.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot.
- Contribute to the design and development of microservices and web services.
- Work with databases and support integration between systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and the development team in an Agile environment.

Required Skills and Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Java development.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and object-oriented programming.
- Good understanding of object-oriented design principles and the Java standard library.
- Experience with microservices architecture and design patterns.
- Experience with REST and SOAP web services.
- Knowledge of Oracle and/or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with TeamCity, Jira, and Git.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with different stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
