Our globally renowned Fintech client — a scale-up building some of the sharpest trading technology in the systematic space — are on the hunt for a Senior Software Engineer to join their elite engineering team and help power the platforms that sit at the heart of front-to-back office trading technology suite.
This isn't maintenance work on legacy systems. You'll be building and evolving a range of trading platforms end-to-end — from the systems that touch the market to the infrastructure that keeps the business running behind the scenes. You'll work alongside some of the sharpest minds in the industry, with a genuine seat at the table when it comes to technical direction and architecture decisions.

This is a London based role with hybrid flexibility.
Requirements:

- Strong commercial experience as a Senior Software Engineer, ideally within capital markets, investment banking, or another trading/financial environment
- Strong experience working with Java
- Spring Boot experience is essential
- Experience working with low latency JVM concepts is a plus!
- Exposure to Kafka (or similar messaging/streaming tech) is a strong plus
- Great communication skills with a solution-first mindset
- Strong technical ownership mentality and appetite to mentor and influence junior engineers
