Senior Java Engineer | iGaming | Up to £82k | Permanent | Remote UK
I’m working with a product-focused technology business in the iGaming space that’s looking for an experienced Senior Java Engineer to join their engineering team.
You’ll be working on modern, scalable cloud-based applications within a collaborative Agile environment, helping build and enhance products used at scale.
What you'll be doing
- Designing, developing and maintaining Java applications and microservices
- Building scalable, resilient and high-performing backend systems
- Developing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Working closely with Product, QA and other engineering teams
- Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code
- Contributing to technical discussions, architecture and engineering best practice
- Supporting continuous improvement across the development team

What we're looking for
- Strong commercial experience with Java
- Excellent experience with Spring Boot
- Experience building REST APIs and microservices
- Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally AWS
- Experience within iGaming or gambling/betting industries
- Understanding of CI/CD and modern software engineering practices
- Experience working within Agile development teams
- Strong understanding of software design and development principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
